Installation to factory safety standards
We remove the old urethane down to a clean substrate, apply corrosion-inhibiting primer where required, and install the new windshield with one-part or two-part polyurethane adhesive depending on the vehicle maker's specification. The urethane is rated for FMVSS 212/216 retention strength, which means the glass stays bonded during a frontal impact and helps support the roof in a rollover. We reinstall cowl panels, wiper arms, mirror buttons and trim pieces exactly as they came from the factory.
Safe drive-away and camera calibration
We use fast-cure urethane rated for minimum drive-away in as little as one hour at Wisconsin temperatures, though the full cure continues for 24 hours. Your installer will walk you through cure times, moldings, wiper reinstallation and what to avoid for the first 24 hours. For vehicles with forward-facing cameras, lane-keep assist or collision mitigation braking, we can coordinate static or dynamic ADAS camera calibration with a trusted local partner so your safety systems work correctly after the new glass is installed.

We bill your comprehensive coverage directly and handle the claim paperwork for the major carriers our Sheboygan customers use — State Farm, American Family, Progressive, Allstate, Geico, Liberty Mutual, West Bend, Erie and Auto-Owners.
